Systems Administrator     
Salary Range: $36.00-$44.85/hr

Systems Administrator

Towill, Inc.’s IT department is growing its team and has an immediate full-time opening for an Systems Administrator in one of our offices in Rancho Cucamonga or San Diego. The ideal person is a motivated, organized team player, who will service Towill’s end-users at all levels of the company under the direction of the IT Director. The service-oriented individual will provide IT services and technical assistance at different capacities at all Southern California offices. The individual must have excellent time management and project management skills, and possess a courteous, willing-to-assist disposition. Position Responsibilities include:

  • Install, implement, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software according with department standards and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve issues and concerns related to Windows desktop and Windows Server hardware and software.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering courteous and informative responses to end-user requests.
  • Continuously investigate and secure resources and support to address technically challenging issues faced by end-users.
  • Manage inventory of stationary and mobile computers, peripherals, and software.
  • Take sole responsibility for managing archive data and its corresponding media.
  • Track and record daily tasks and progress towards completion and resolution.
  • Assist in servicing and troubleshooting cloud-based phone systems and network server issues.
  • Engage in local and remote travel, up to 40% of the time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a good driving record and be capable of using own vehicle.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and technologies, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Active Directory.
  • Proficient in Windows desktop administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of security fundamentals.
  • Ability to tackle complex technology assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and employees at all organizational levels.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Work well independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, timely, adaptable, responsible, and accountable.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify, research, and resolve problems.
  • Ability to manage schedule and travel effectively.
  • Quick learner with experience in configuring and administering domain controllers in a domain environment.
  • Capable of performing basic wiring and other physical networking tasks.
  • Experience working with Windows Server versions 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019.

Required Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Possess technical skills and experience in Local and Wide Area Networks.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer orientation.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Effective response to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Treat confidential matters discreetly with poise and tact.

Qualifications that are not required but great to have:

  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other drafting tools.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Spiceworks or Freshservice.
  • Experience administering Office 365, Linux, VOIP, Sophos UTM routers, and PowerShell.

Working Conditions:

  • Dayshift hours primarily. May require 45-to-50-hour work weeks.
  • Travel required 40% of time.
  • Exposure to dust, heat, noise, chemical fumes, and high voltage power.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires sitting (65%), standing (10%), walking (15%), and bending and stooping (10%).
  • Additional physical requirements are as follows:
    • Ability to do work on floors, ladders, crawlspaces, and ceiling work.
    • Ability to access file cabinets that stand at various heights.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to understand, speak, and follow English instructions.
    • Ability to drive a vehicle.

Administrative & Compliance Coordinator     
Salary Range: $35.00-$38.00/hr

Administrative & Compliance Coordinator

Towill, Inc. is a growing firm and has an opening for an Administrative Coordinator. This position will have supportive responsibilities in corporate, safety, IT, and HR administrative duties. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, and looking to start a career in the survey engineering profession. This person must be adaptable and excited to engage with a broad spectrum of colleagues and senior management across multiple departments. With the growth objectives of the U.S. business, the ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and diverse responsibilities as business needs change. This position will report to Towill’s Vice President and Secretary to the Board. This will be a hybrid role which requires the candidate to be in multiple offices and be willing to travel where needed. Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications and experience. A great benefit to joining Towill is continued growth and development!

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a variety of office administration activities and assigned projects for office organization.
  • Support compliance activities as-needed.
  • Support IT for website and intranet project management.
  • Support IT for inventory count.
  • Support IT for basic equipment placement and connection as directed.
  • Support corporate items such as handbooks, plans, programs, and policies.
  • Support safety items such as Emergency Response Plan, Health & Safety Program, etc.
  • Support HR in tracking new laws that affect the firm.
  • Support HR with monthly and quarterly compliance input.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • Previous experience working in company health & safety or IT environments beneficial.
  • Must have a good driving record and be capable of using own vehicle.
  • Organized and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with extreme attention to detail.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully.
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Dependable, timely, adaptable, responsible, and accountable.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires sitting (65%), standing (10%), walking (15%), and bending and stooping (10%).
  • May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Travel required 30% of time.

Survey CADD Technicians (Employment or Internship)     
Salary Range: $20.00-$30.00/hr, commensurate with experience

Survey CADD Technician (Employment or Internship)

Towill is seeking to fill various internship opportunities and entry–level Survey CADD Technician positions with persons who are well organized and have strong optimism and attention to detail to work remote and hybrid throughout California and Colorado. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available! Interested persons must have the ability to work independently and as a team member within a diverse, multi-disciplinary team. They must have some experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Any working knowledge of MicroStation software is a plus!

Required Qualifications:

  • Either have a BS degree in Geomatics Engineering or Civil Engineering, OR be a declared Geomatics Engineering or Civil Engineering Major.
  • Have AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation experience in a classroom or professional setting.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
